EEOSTAT is a product of Equitas Publishing LLC, located in Shepherdstown, WV, and is owned by Jeffrey Bannon and Terry Thorson.
Jeffrey Bannon is a practicing attorney, admitted in Connecticut, West Virginia, and numerous federal courts. For over thirty-five years he has worked as an attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, litigating employment discrimination actions in the federal district and appellate courts. He serves as Assistant General Counsel, responsible for expert services and statistical proof. From 1989 to 1999, he was the Regional Attorney in EEOC’s Dallas District Office, where he supervised trial litigation in northern Texas and Oklahoma.
Bannon developed several applications for the EEOC (EEOSTAT was written in his private capacity). He wrote software to analyze employers’ EEO-1 reports, comparing companies to others in similar industries and localities; he joined EEOC’s Office of Information Technology team and developed an Oracle database system to track agency’s enforcement litigation; and he wrote software to track EEOC’s appellate litigation in the U.S. Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court. He is knowledgeable in the SAS, R, Oracle PL-SQL, Delphi, SQL programming languages.
